#BrightonInspired Project for Brighton Digital Festival
This year as part of the Brighton Digital Festival 2015 we have partnered with New Writing South to bring you our #BrightonInspired project.
Brighton Inspired is a digital geo-tagging project that invites you and other Brighton & Hove enthusiasts to tag on the map the places that have left you inspired in our city – whether it was a gig that inspired you to harness your musical talent, an art gallery that inspired you to get your paintbrushes out, a charity that inspired you to give something back to the city or even just a beautiful nature spot that inspired you to relax and take it all in! Whatever it is – we want to hear about it.
Get in touch via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using #BrightonInspired with your pictures, videos, music, or just simple text to be featured in our feed. Don’t forget to include your chosen location in Brighton and Hove so we can get busy adding all of this to our multi-media digital map. Haven’t got social accounts? Don’t worry – you can email us your photos and location. We encourage a wide variety of media from all sorts of people, being inspired by many different things – we really want to make the map as diverse as we can. This is also a great way to share your creative work with other inspired Brightonians!
New Writing South will be hosting a drop in session at The Writers’ Place in the centre of Brighton for those of you who would love to get involved but are not online. Save the date: 18th September, 4pm-7pm. Feel free to pop in and see us if you have any questions about the project!
Find out more and be part of the project here. http://www.brightoninspired.co.uk. We can’t wait to see (and visit) all your entries!
